Zoom is a video conferencing tool that combines an easy-to-use interface with exceptional video quality, offering a seamless experience for collaboration across mobile devices, desktops, and conference rooms. Zoom features include screen sharing, recording, breakout rooms, chat, adaptive streaming, and more!

Use Zoom to meet using video, voice, and screen-sharing with colleagues across the campus or around the world. With Zoom, up to 300 participants can attend via phone, computer, mobile device, or video conferencing.

Zoom is now available to all faculty, staff, and students. Whether you need to collaborate one-on-one, with a small group or an entire department, Zoom has you covered.

Join anywhere, on any device
Zoom syncs with your calendar system and delivers streamlined enterprise-grade video conferencing from desktop and mobile.

Video and Chat
Bring HD video and audio to your meetings with support for up to 300 video participants and 49 videos on screen. Chat with groups, searchable history, and integrated file sharing. Easily escalate into 1:1 or group calls.

Mobile Device Client
Zoom offers the Zoom Cloud Meetings app for Android and iOS.

Live Streaming of Meetings
You can stream a Zoom Meeting or Webinar live. During the live event, there will be an approximate 20-second delay between the actual Zoom Meeting or Webinar, and the Live stream.

Built-in collaboration tools
Multiple participants can share their screens simultaneously and co-annotate for a more interactive meeting.

Breakout Rooms
Breakout rooms allow you to split your Zoom meeting in up to 50 separate sessions. The meeting host can choose to split the participants of the meeting into these separate sessions automatically or manually, and can switch between sessions at any time.

Polling
The polling feature for meetings allows you to create single choice or multiple choice polling questions for your meetings. You will be able to launch the poll during your meeting and gather the responses from your attendees. You also have the ability to download a report of polling after the meeting. Polls can also be conducted anonymously, if you do not wish to collect participant information with the poll results.

Whiteboarding
The whiteboard feature will allow you to share a whiteboard that you and other participants (if allowed) can annotate on.

File Transfer
In-Meeting file transfer allows you to send files to other meeting participants during the meeting through the in-meeting chat.

Meet securely
Utilizing end-to-end encryption for meetings, role-based user security, password protection, waiting rooms, and place attendee on hold.

Waiting Rooms
The Waiting Room feature allows the host to control when a participant joins the meeting. As the meeting host, you can admit attendees one by one or hold all attendees in the waiting room and admit them all at once. You can send all participants to the waiting room when joining your meeting or only guests, participants who are not on your Zoom account or are not signed in.

Recording and transcripts
Record your meetings locally or to the cloud, with searchable transcripts.

Closed Captioning
Closed captioning allows you or another meeting attendee, assigned by the host, to add closed captioning in a meeting. In a webinar, closed captioning can be typed by the host, co-host, or a panelist assigned by the host. You can type the closed captions directly via Zoom or you can integrate a third party service.

Streamlined calendaring
Support scheduling or starting meetings from Outlook, Gmail, or iCal.

Delegation of Scheduling
You can assign or delegate a user or multiple users in your account to schedule meetings on your behalf. Users with Scheduling Privilege on your account will be able to manage and act as an alternative host for all meetings.

Connect with anyone on campus!
All Texas A&M faculty, staff, and students are licensed users for Zoom, making it easier to add people to a Zoom meeting.

Zoom Meetings & Chat

There is no cost to use Zoom Meetings & Chat for meetings up to 300 participants

For meeting with over 300 participants an additional cost will apply

Zoom Video Webinars

Zoom Video Webinars is an add-on feature to Zoom Meetings & Chat and had a reoccurring monthly cost based on number of participants
