Windows 10 End of Life
The Windows 10 End of Life Project ensured a smooth transition to Windows 11 before support ended on October 14, 2025. All remaining Windows 10 devices were removed from the network by October 31, securing compliance and protecting organizational systems.
Overview
Windows 10 officially reached End of Life on October 14, 2025. To maintain compliance with security standards, all devices running Windows 10 were removed from the network on October 31, 2025. This project ensured a smooth transition to Windows 11 across all departments and safeguarded organizational systems.
- February–June 2025: Aggressive upgrade campaign; 1,528 of 1,778 devices upgraded by June 30. Remaining devices were tracked and scheduled for remediation.
- October 14, 2025: Windows 10 reached EOL; security updates ceased.
- October 31, 2025: Network adapters disabled for all remaining Windows 10 machines; project marked complete.
- Devices still on Windows 10 after October 14 were blocked from network access to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Digital signage PCs and other unmanaged endpoints were included in the enforcement plan.

Project Complete
All active Windows 10 machines have been disabled from network access. Departments collaborated to finalize upgrades and confirm compliance.
